Sofa and mattress removal
Sofas and mattresses are the items people struggle with most. They are heavy, awkward on stairs and don't fit in a car to the tip.
We carry them out for you, load them and take them away. Mattresses need separate disposal, so we price them in your quote. You won't get a surprise on the day.
Furniture collection
Moving house, downsizing or replacing old furniture? We collect wardrobes, tables, chairs and drawers, including pieces that need to come down from upstairs.
Good furniture gets a second life through the Kelham Flea shop where we can. The rest is recycled or disposed of responsibly.
Kelham Flea or the council bulky collection?
Sheffield City Council runs a bulky collection through Veolia. It collects only from outside the property: you carry everything out by 7am, up to 12 items, then wait up to seven working days. This is how we compare.

What changes the price
Every quote is fixed and includes labour, loading, transport and licensed disposal. Four things set it:

01How much does sofa removal cost in Sheffield?
Single bulky items such as a sofa start from £70. Several items, or a room's worth, are priced together by volume, which works out cheaper per item.
02Do I have to take items outside for collection?
No. We carry items out from any room, loft or garage. You don't need to move anything before we arrive.
03Do you take fridges and freezers?
Yes. We carry fridges and freezers out from any room. They need specialist recycling, so we include that in your quote.
04Can you collect a single mattress?
Yes. Single items, including mattresses, start from £70. We can often collect the same week.
05How is this different from the council bulky collection?
The council collects only from outside your property, up to 12 items, within seven working days of payment. Items must be taken apart and bagged first, and anything not put out correctly is left with no refund. We carry items out from any room, take as much as you have and can often collect the same week.
06What happens to furniture you collect?
